Easter

Easter was fun this year. We had a party with the Jenkins family at our house on Saturday. The picture above is of Bailey searching for eggs. By Sunday morning, she was an expert. She already loved carrying around baskets or purses, and really liked putting the eggs/treats in the basket. We also enjoyed some beautiful weather. (of course it snowed that night)

Shelby and Gretchen are old hat at the egg hunts, but still enjoy fighting each other to find the most. This year, the Easter bunny brought the kids movies and some spring clothes for our trip to Florida. They look so cute in them!

We are getting ready to leave for Florida on Saturday, April 10th. We will be coming back on the 18th. Looking at the forecast in Orlando, it shows rain on Monday and Tuesday, but we'll make the best of it and go to the indoor activities at the parks.

I am excited for the girls to experience their first airplane ride. I'm not that fond of flying, but it will be worth it to be there when the girls feel that surge as we take off. Fun stuff.

Health-wise, we've been struggling with colds and other things lately. Bailey has had an ear infection for quite some time. She's on her second batch of antibiotics. Hopefully this one takes care of it. I was diagnosed with bronchitis a few weeks ago and am still not 100% better. Gretchen has come down with a cold and we're hoping it's a quick one.

Our dog, Ashes, is off to training school for 3 months. We get pictures and updates on her progress weekly. She is doing better than expected and looks to be having a blast.
