Congratulations Aaron!! MBA from ASU - Go Devils!

Congratulations to my super smart husband, Aaron!  He is done with his MBA from ASU!  We went to Phoenix over the weekend so he could walk and receive his diploma.  I am so proud of him and all the hard work he put into his 4.0 GPA over the past two years.  I know it wasn't easy, but he made it look like it was.  

Aaron does not like attention, so I figured we needed to let the neighborhood know how much we are proud of him.  We made the sign below and put it up for everyone to see.  He just shook his head.  It didn't last on the garage the whole weekend (thanks to the wind), but it was enough.  :-)

 It was cheaper for us to fly into Las Vegas and drive down to Phoenix, than to fly directly into Phoenix.  It gave Aaron the perfect opportunity to rent a really nice car for the 4.5 hour drive down there.  The car rental place upgraded us to a Mercedes G350 for the ride and we loved it!  I didn't get to drive it, but Aaron said it cornered like it was on rails.

The ceremony at ASU's Wells Fargo Arena wasn't very long.  The owner of the Arizona Diamonbacks spoke along with the dean of the business school.  There were 300 student participating in the convocation, so it was about 90 minutes long.

Afterwards, we drove directly back to Vegas and flew home the next morning. We had a wonderful meal at Carnevinos in the Palazzo on Thursday night and played blackjack for a few hours on Friday night.  (we walked away with $1 more than we started with)  It was a quick, but fun getaway and I know Aaron is happy he took the time to go down and walk.  We love you Aaron!
